Kool Thing Vintage is based in Chinatown/DTES in Vancouver BC Canada on the Unceded Territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations and is owned & operated by partners Mysa and Forrest.

Each item in the brick & mortar shop and on-line stores has been hand sourced and carefully curated by Mysa & Forrest, with lots additional help from their small Kool Thing team!

As a pair of 70s babies/80s kids that hit their teens in the 90s, they share a love of the alternative fashion, art & music of that time; and although the 90s is at the core of the curation, they mix in a bit of everything from the mid-20th century to the early 2000s.
